Hello everyone,
I hope you were able to attend or watch online last Sunday. It was great seeing young Kami share communion, the worship was inspiring, and Brad did a stella job delivering a powerful message around Ephesians 5. Always heart warming to see people responding to the challenge to be right before the Lord.
This Sunday we are holding Mark Rayward’s “Celebration of Life” in place of our second service. Many of Mark’s family/friends will be arriving between 10-10:30am, so just be aware that not everyone on site this Sunday will be here for Church. We will endeavour to quickly clear the auditorium after the first service, so that Mark’s family have time to set up for the 10:30am start. Please be praying, as we welcome over 150 new people who wouldn’t normally frequent our facility. It’s a great opportunity to love on these people in their time of grief and share Gods heart for them within the content of the service. Our hearts go out to Heidi, Ruth and Lawson as they try and come to terms with their dad’s unexpected passing. We are confident that the Lord will comfort and encourage everyone as we gather to celebrate Mark and his faith in Jesus.
The following Sunday 21st July we are having baptisms incorporated into the service. We also have an artist coming to paint a “Spiritual Warfare” scene while I preach. There will only be one (1) service beginning at 9am. So please make sure you note the time adjustment.
Across each weekend, the series of Church lunches sharing our vision will continue as planned and kick off at 11:30am.
So much happens on Sundays, but the Church is exponentially more than a one day gathering. It is the scattered Church that has equal importance as we seek to permeate our community and share the love God has lavished on us. Be encouraged as you head to school, work or at the shops this week and be alert that God will bring us opportunities to be a blessing. As we go about the ebb and flow of our daily lives there is always the possibility for random acts of kindness to impact someone’s journey and be Jesus. We are His hands and feet and as we posture and avail ourselves to serve, invariably a “God Appointment” happens! You are a blessing and you will be a blessing.
Blessings
Pastor Mark Wilson

Catalyst Kids - held during 8.30am Sunday service
|
We have a heart to provide fun, bible based teaching for primary school aged kids so that they can explore who Jesus is and grow in their faith.
Catalyst Kids runs during our 8.30am service all year, except for during our family Christmas services in December.
During School holidays and on special occasions Kidzone kids (primary aged) start in main service with their families and head out part way through. Tinyland (walking to 4 years) start in their room all year round.

Catalyst Young adults love to hang out and have fun. The core of who we are is to challenge and inspire each other in our relationship with God.
The most important part of Catalyst Young Adults is our connect groups. Most of these groups meet weekly or fortnightly. These groups provide great opportunities to connect with other young adults, discover how the bible applies to our lives and encourage one another to live our lives to the fullest.
As well as our connect groups, we love to gather together in other ways. We aim to have 2 events a month - one social and one worship focused.
Anyone from age 17 to early 30's is welcome to come join us. For more info please connect with Brad or Ruth Pain or email info@catalystchurch.com.au
|
Our Connect Groups are well under way for the year. But you don't have to miss out! It's such a great way to journey through life together, growing in Christ.

Are you Stressed?
Stress is an everyday fact of life, and we can’t avoid it. The definition of stress is any change that we must adapt to. Stress can range from the negative extreme of physical danger to the exhilaration of achieving some long-awaited success. Whether the stress we experience is the result of major life changes or the cumulative effect of minor everyday hassles, it is how we respond to these experiences that determines the impact stress will have on our lives.
- Is your stress affecting your ability to function well?
- Has stress become so overwhelming with tension and pressure that it is affecting every area of your life?
Then book a session with Catalyst Counselling to understand how you view stress, strategies to deal with pressure in your life as well as relaxation and calming techniques.
